About Vicky

I am a self taught artist who started using inks about 8 years ago and fell in love with their vibrancy and versatility. Inks allow me to paint in a fluid, free and abstract style and often have a mind of their own! Many of my paintings start with the colours I am feeling at the time and take shape as I am painting. Often I will start with one idea for a painting and the end piece will be completely different. I find this both exciting and freeing and love this spontaneous and intuitive style.
